One Down Eleven To Go

I am really enjoying this challenge and oddly enough feel much more in touch with who I am. I have always known that I liked myself, but it is nice to see the thoughts that run through my head on paper (well cyber-paper that is). At the same time I feel like my creativity is sparked -- at an all time high maybe. I have started looking at life differently and it is not as ho-hum as it used to be. I really needed that. Lastly, I have found that enjoy the journaling. I didn't think I would, but I suspect the daily prompts/topics really help, for without them I would be a bit lost. I am far more wordy than I probably need to be, but that's OK for now. Maybe one month I will try and adopt a briefer more direct style like some of the others in this challenge. I also wonder how much more I can even write about myself over the rest of the year -- I guess we will see!

I have started mulling over the idea that I would like to use the photos and journaling from this experience in an art quilt of some type. The little Flickr Set squares remind me of a quilt, which sparked the idea. I have never done an art quilt before, but I think the freedom of expression and rules would pair nicely with this journey.
